“14. In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 15. Who is the image of the visible God, the firstborn of every creature. 16. For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17. And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.”
Why do difficulties in life cause us to be so afraid? Though the flesh is weak, we have a powerful book that gives us strength to deal with every possible thing we could deal with in life. Have you ever come to the place in your life to accept the Bible as God’s perfect, preserved, and inspired Word? Inspired meaning God breathed! If you have not come to the place in your life to say the King James Bible is perfect you are going to have trouble getting through your difficulties! When we look at this passage of scripture there are some important truths that we can apply to our tough situations that we face. Salvation is the first and foundational key to have victory. If you have not accepted Christ as your Savior its no wonder why you cant find victory. Christ died to pay for all of your sins, but you must accept Jesus Christ in your heart in order to have that first victory in your life. As believers, we hit what seems like roadblocks sometimes, but the problem is always us. Do you allow God to lead you in everything you do? This passage reminds us that God is in control of everything all the time. Stop trusting in yourself and start trusting in God. Its that little word called faith. Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Don’t forget that Jesus Christ was in total control, even at death. John 19:30 “When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.” Why are you having tough times today? You might know! You might not! Jesus Christ loves you! Don’t give up! Keep moving forward! Keep having faith! Life is tough, but God is in control of all!
